Schatrax
Vintage Vinyl 001

Listening notes

Schatrax's Vintage Vinyl 001, released in 2015 on the artist's own Schatrax label, carries the catalog number SCHAT VV01. The release sits within the electronic and house genres and arrives in vinyl format, presenting three tracks across its two sides.

The A-side is given over entirely to "First Heartbeat," a single track occupying the full side. The B-side collects two pieces: "I Hold You Precious" and "Overcome." The naming convention of the release — Vintage Vinyl 001 — suggests the possibility of a numbered series, though what that series may have grown to include is not addressed here.

The decision to self-release under the Schatrax imprint places this record within a recognizable tradition of artist-run labels in electronic music, where creative and logistical control remains with the originating artist rather than an outside party. The catalog number structure, beginning with SCHAT, reinforces the impression of an organized, self-managed catalogue, and the VV designation within that number aligns directly with the Vintage Vinyl series title.

Track durations are not confirmed for any of the three pieces, and no additional personnel, recording, or pressing information is available for inclusion here.

What the verified facts do establish is a tidy and self-contained release: three tracks, two sides, one label, one artist, one year. Whether the Vintage Vinyl numbering continued beyond this inaugural entry, and what context surrounds these particular titles, would require additional sourcing before any further claims could responsibly be made.

This is an unreviewed draft requiring human fact-checking before publication.
