Schatrax
Vintage Vinyl 008

Listening notes

Schatrax's Vintage Vinyl 008, released in 2021 on the artist's self-titled label, is the eighth installment in the Vintage Vinyl series. Carrying the catalog number SCHATVV08, the release arrives on vinyl and sits within the electronic and house genres.

The record presents three tracks spread across its two sides. The A-side is given over entirely to "Dancin'," while the B-side carries two tracks: "Just For Fun" and "Sunshine." The titles themselves suggest a set oriented around straightforward, good-natured dancefloor concerns, though no further production or compositional details are available here to elaborate on that observation.

As a self-released project operating under the Schatrax imprint, Vintage Vinyl 008 continues a numbered series that, by its eighth entry, points to a sustained and independent approach to putting out music on wax. The series format and self-operated label together indicate an artist maintaining direct control over both the music and its physical distribution. Beyond what the catalog number and release year confirm, the specifics of how this entry fits into the broader arc of the Vintage Vinyl series remain outside the scope of what can be stated here with confidence.

What the available information does establish is a concise, three-track vinyl release from 2021, issued independently, falling within house and electronic music, and formatted in a way that gives the A-side a single extended focus before the B-side offers two further tracks. Readers seeking detail on personnel, pressing specifics, or the record's reception should consult sources beyond this entry.
