Schatrax
Vintage Vinyl 008

Listening notes

Schatrax's Vintage Vinyl 008, released in 2017 on the artist's own Schatrax label, carries the catalog number SCHATVV08 and continues a self-titled series that the project has used to distribute music on vinyl. The release sits within the electronic, house, and tech house genres, placing it among a body of work oriented toward dance floor contexts.

The record is a three-track vinyl release spread across two sides. The A-side holds a single track, "Dancin'," while the B-side carries two tracks: "Just For Fun" and "Sunshine." No durations are documented for any of the three tracks. The sequencing places the sole A-side cut in a prominent position, with the B-side offering a pair of titles whose names, like "Dancin'" before them, lean toward the accessible and movement-oriented language common to house music.

Operating under a self-run label structure, Schatrax retains direct control over the release and distribution of the Vintage Vinyl series, of which this is the eighth installment. That catalog numbering — SCHATVV08 — confirms the series had reached at least this volume by 2017, suggesting a sustained commitment to the format and to releasing music under this particular imprint designation.

Beyond what the catalog data confirms — artist name, label, catalog number, year, format, genre classifications, and tracklist — additional details regarding personnel, recording circumstances, pressing specifics, or the record's reception are not available within the verified record for this release. Researchers and collectors seeking further documentation would need to consult supplementary sources to fill those gaps.
