Schatrax
Vintage Vinyl 008

Listening notes

Schatrax's Vintage Vinyl 008, released in 2016 on the artist's self-titled label, is a three-track vinyl release catalogued as SCHATVV08. Falling within the electronic and house genres, it forms part of the Vintage Vinyl series that the label has used to organize its output.

The record is a single-sided A-side in terms of track distribution, with "Dancin'" occupying the A1 position alone, while the B-side carries two tracks: "Just For Fun" at B1 and "Sunshine" at B2. This sequencing places a single opener on the first side before moving to a paired closing sequence, a structure not uncommon in twelve-inch house releases where side lengths can vary by design.

The catalog numbering convention — SCHATVV08 — indicates this is the eighth entry in the Vintage Vinyl series, suggesting the label had already established a consistent framework for releasing material under this banner by the time this record appeared. The self-released nature of the record, with Schatrax functioning as both artist and label, reflects a mode of operation that has become characteristic of independent electronic music production, allowing artists direct control over how and when material reaches a physical format.

No track durations are documented in the available data, so the overall runtime of the record cannot be determined from verified sources. The three titles — "Dancin'," "Just For Fun," and "Sunshine" — carry an informal, playful register that aligns loosely with the house genre's established vocabulary, though what the tracks themselves deliver musically is beyond the scope of what the confirmed facts here can address.
