Si Begg
Jetlag And Tinnitus Reworks Limited Vinyl Edition

Listening notes

Si Begg's Jetlag And Tinnitus Reworks Limited Vinyl Edition, released in 2007 on Noodles Recordings, brings together four tracks under catalog number NOODJNR3-V, presenting a collection that draws from an notably broad span of electronic music genres. The release lists abstract, breaks, dubstep, electronic, and techno among its genre tags, a range that signals an interest in working across rather than within the more defined boundaries of contemporary club music at the time.

The tracklist is organized across two sides. The A-side opens with "My Style (Si Begg Bleep Steppers Mix)" before moving into "Non Stop Cut Paste (Jacob London Mix)," the latter representing the sole track on the release not credited to a Si Begg interpretation. The B-side pairs "My Style (Kawatins Mix)" with "My Style (VIP)," the final cut also attributed to Si Begg. Three of the four tracks are reworkings of "My Style," approached from different angles and under different names, while "Non Stop Cut Paste" in the Jacob London Mix stands apart as the release's only treatment of a separate composition.

The designation of limited vinyl edition in the title is noted, though no pressing quantity is verified here. The release sits within Noodles Recordings' catalog, a label associated with Si Begg as an outlet for his output during this period, though specific label history is not confirmed within the scope of this entry.

As a reworks release, the record is structured around reinterpretation rather than original material presented in a single canonical form, with the VIP designation on the closing track conventionally indicating a variant or alternate version produced by the original artist. Beyond what the tracklist and format information confirm, further claims about the release await verification.
