Sonia
The Vinyl Collection

Listening notes

Released in 2022 on Energise Records, The Vinyl Collection (catalog number Sonia Set 1) is a multi-format package from Sonia, spanning four vinyl discs and one CD. The release falls under the genres of Electronic, Europop, and Pop.

The vinyl portion of the set is organized across sides A through H, with each of the three main songs — "Dancing In The Drivers Seat," "Your Heart Or Mine," and "If You Come Back To Me" — presented in both an original version and an Energise Remix. Side G adds a Sakgra Remix of "Your Heart Or Mine," while side H closes the vinyl component with "Fool For Love (New Ballad Mix)."

The accompanying CD extends the package considerably, offering twelve tracks in total. It includes the three core songs in what appear to be standard versions, alongside the Energise Remixes that also appear on vinyl. Several additional mixes are exclusive to the CD: "A Night That's Never Ending" appears in three versions — a Matt Pop Mix, a Sakgra Mix, and an Xmas Mix — none of which feature on the vinyl sides. "Fool For Love" receives further treatment through a 2022 Ballad Mix, a Project K Remix, and a Sakgra Mix. "Your Heart Or Mine" also features a Sakgra Remix on vinyl that does not reappear on the CD.

The structure of the set is notably remix-heavy, with named remixers including Energise, Sakgra, Matt Pop, and Project K represented across the full package. Duration information is not listed for any track across either format.
