Sorry We Play Vinyl 2

Listening notes

Sorry We Play Vinyl 2 is the second release on the Sorry We Play Vinyl label, issued in 2026 under catalog number VRW02. The record is a vinyl release operating within the electronic and tech house genres.

The release carries three tracks across its two sides. The A side contains a single track, Edit4, while the B side holds two tracks, Edit6 and Edit6. No track durations are listed for any of the three edits.

The naming convention across all three tracks follows a straightforward numbering sequence, suggesting this release continues directly from where the label's first outing left off, though the content of that prior release is outside the scope of what can be confirmed here. The use of the word "edit" as a track title is a familiar shorthand in dance music contexts, typically indicating a reworked or modified version of existing material, though no source material or authorship details are documented for this release.

The label name doubles as the artist credit, a self-referential choice that places the medium itself at the center of the project's identity. Whether this reflects a collective, a rotating roster of contributors, or a single operator behind the project is not established by the available information.

As a 2026 release, Sorry We Play Vinyl 2 sits at the outer edge of what can be documented at time of writing. The catalog number VRW02 confirms it as the second entry in the label's sequence, implying an ongoing series format, though how frequently or extensively that series develops remains to be seen.
