Soulpersona
Momentum (Limited Edition Vinyl)

Listening notes

Soulpersona's Momentum arrived in 2015 as a limited edition vinyl release on SPR (4), catalogued as SPRLP1502-2. The record spans eight tracks and situates itself across a range of related but distinct styles, with the release formally tagged under Boogie, Funk, Funk / Soul, Neo Soul, and Soul.

The tracklist opens with "Ride In Time" and moves through "Live & Learn," "Your Love Is Mine," and the title track "Momentum" before continuing with "Let It Go," "No Games," "Open Sesame," and closing on "My Friend." Eight tracks in total, with no durations documented in the available data.

The genre designations are worth noting for collectors and cataloguers working to situate this release on a shelf or in a database. The overlap between Boogie, Funk, and Neo Soul reflects a set of stylistic coordinates that were meaningfully distinct by 2015, each pointing toward different production lineages and audiences. Whether the release leans harder into any one of these categories is not something the available facts confirm, so that question remains open for anyone approaching the record firsthand.

As a limited edition pressing, the release carries the SPRLP1502-2 catalog number, which may assist in distinguishing it from any other configurations that exist or may have existed. The label designation SPR (4) reflects the Discogs convention of disambiguating labels that share a name, and researchers should take care to confirm they are referencing the correct entity before drawing conclusions about the label's broader catalog or geography.

Track durations are not currently available, and personnel, recording locations, and pressing details are absent from the verified record. This draft should be reviewed against any additional documentation before publication.
