*SOUR*
Time Paradox LP - 25th Anniversary Vinyl Edition - EF

Listening notes

Zodiak Commune's 2023 release of the *SOUR* Time Paradox LP marks the 25th anniversary of the original record, presented here as the EF edition carrying catalog number ZC032LP-EF. The release spans five tracks across two sides, fitting squarely within the acid, electronic, and techno genres the label has long occupied.

Side E opens with "Explore," running six minutes and twenty-two seconds, before moving into the title track "Time Paradox" at six minutes and forty seconds, the longest piece on the record. Side F carries three tracks: "Chronos" at five minutes and three seconds, "Backdoors" at five minutes and eight seconds, and "4th Dimension" closing things out at four minutes and thirty-seven seconds. The total program runs just under twenty-eight minutes across the two sides, with Side E accounting for the longer of the two halves.

The designation of this as an EF edition, distinguished from other pressings by its side labeling, places it as a specific variant within what appears to be a broader anniversary release campaign for the album. The catalog number ZC032LP-EF reflects Zodiak Commune's structured approach to identifying individual pressings within a series.

The track titles themselves — "Time Paradox," "Chronos," "4th Dimension," "Backdoors," "Explore" — suggest a thematic consistency around concepts of time and space that the original LP title already signals, though the verified facts available here do not extend to confirming any stated artistic intent behind that framing.

For collectors and reference purposes, the key identifiers for this pressing are the label name Zodiak Commune, catalog number ZC032LP-EF, the 2023 release year, and the EF side designation. Further details regarding personnel, pressing specifications, and original release history are not confirmed by the available information and should be sourced independently before publication.
