Starting Over (Special Edition Vinyl)

Listening notes

Speed (5)'s Starting Over (Special Edition Vinyl) was released in 1997 on Toy's Factory under catalog number PRT-322. The release is classified within the J-pop and Pop genres and presents four tracks across two sides of a standard vinyl configuration.

Side A opens with "Go! Go! Heaven (Album Version)" at five minutes and thirty-two seconds, followed by the title track "Starting Over" at five minutes and twenty-eight seconds. Both cuts occupy a similar runtime, giving the first side a relatively consistent pacing. Side B leads with "Luv Vibration" at four minutes and fourteen seconds and closes with "サヨナラは雨の日...." running four minutes and thirty-one seconds. The four tracks total just under twenty minutes of program content across the record.

The designation "Special Edition Vinyl" in the release title distinguishes this pressing from other configurations in which this material may have appeared, though the specific nature of that distinction is not elaborated upon by the available documentation. The inclusion of an album version of "Go! Go! Heaven" in the tracklist suggests that alternate versions of at least that track existed at the time of release.

Toy's Factory, a Japanese label, served as the releasing entity, and the catalog number PRT-322 provides the primary reference point for collectors and databases seeking to identify this specific edition. The 1997 release date places the record within a period when vinyl was a less dominant commercial format in many markets, including Japan, lending some contextual interest to its existence as a physical pressing.
