Talla 2XLC
Technoclub Retro (Limited Vinyl Edition Vol. 2)

Listening notes

Talla 2XLC's Technoclub Retro (Limited Vinyl Edition Vol. 2) arrives in 2026 on the Technoclub Retro label under catalog number TCR21001-1, continuing what is evidently a series given the volume designation. Like its predecessor implied by the numbering, this release situates itself within the electronic and trance genres, presented here on vinyl format.

The record spreads six tracks across two sides, with each selection offered in extended form — a configuration that suits the unhurried architecture typical of the genres represented. Side A opens with "Into The Wormhole (Extended Mix)" at six minutes and forty seconds, followed by "Transmission (Extended Mix)" at six minutes and twenty-four seconds. The side closes with its longest entry, "No Fate (Extended Mix)," which runs eight minutes and seventeen seconds, making it the weightiest track on the release overall.

Side B maintains a comparable tempo of programming. "City 2 City (Talla 2XLC Extended Mix)" leads at six minutes and forty-six seconds, with the parenthetical credit indicating Talla 2XLC's direct involvement in that particular mix. "The Dragon (Extended Mix)" follows at six minutes and fifty-five seconds. The record concludes with "Free (Talla 2XLC & Para X Extended Mix)" at seven minutes and two seconds, a track whose credit names both Talla 2XLC and Para X as contributors to the mix.

Across the full program, total runtime approaches forty-two minutes, distributed with reasonable balance between the two sides. The consistent use of extended mixes throughout suggests the release is oriented toward a listening or DJ-compatible format rather than a condensed retrospective. The series framing implied by "Vol. 2" and the label name Technoclub Retro points toward an ongoing archival or reissue-oriented project, though the specifics of that context are not confirmed by the available information and would warrant further verification before publication.
