Tiefschwarz Feat. Chikinki
Wait & See (Vinyl I)

Listening notes

Released in 2005 on the Fine. label, "Wait & See (Vinyl I)" is a two-sided twelve-inch from Tiefschwarz featuring Chikinki, catalogued as FOR 1080 6. The release presents a single track in two distinct configurations, one per side.

The A-side carries the Extended Version of "Wait & See," a format common to dance-oriented releases intended to give DJs additional room to work with the material. The B-side presents an Alter Ego Remix of the same track, offering a reworked perspective on the source recording. The parenthetical "Vinyl I" in the title suggests this release was conceived as part of a series, implying at least one additional volume was planned or issued under a related catalog designation.

The genres associated with the release span electro, electro house, electronic, and techno, reflecting the broad stylistic territory that both Tiefschwarz and Chikinki occupied during this period of mid-2000s European club music. The Fine. label, operating within that same electronic music ecosystem, serves as the release's issuing imprint.

The tracklist itself uses informal side designations — "This Side" and "That Side" — in place of conventional alphanumeric labeling, though the individual tracks are still identified as A and B in the data. This small typographical choice is worth noting for collectors cross-referencing pressings or comparing label copy across editions.

No durations are confirmed for either track. Collectors and researchers seeking additional details about personnel, remixer credits beyond Alter Ego, or related volumes in the series are encouraged to consult primary sources before treating any further information as verified.
