Traian Chereches / Vlad Caia
Fabric 72: 10" Vinyl Sampler 2

Listening notes

Released in 2014 on Fabric Records, catalog number 10FAB012B, this 10" vinyl sampler arrives as part of the label's Fabric 72 series. The release pairs two artists — Traian Chereches and Vlad Caia — across its two sides, placing it within the electronic, minimal techno, and tech house genres as documented.

The format itself is worth noting for collectors browsing the Fabric catalog. The 10" configuration is less common than the standard 12" favored in dance music contexts, and this release is identified specifically as a sampler, the second in a set tied to the Fabric 72 release. Fabric Records, the London-based label operating in connection with the fabric nightclub, has used physical sampler releases as a way to accompany its mix series, though the precise relationship between this sampler and any corresponding full-length or DJ mix is not elaborated upon by the available data.

Side A carries "Fast Lane 4" by Traian Chereches, while Side B presents "Ticktockclockityclock" by Vlad Caia. Track durations are not available in the documentation at hand. The two tracks are attributed to separate artists rather than a collaborative credit, suggesting the sampler functions as a split release of sorts, though the framing under a joint artist designation — Traian Chereches / Vlad Caia — indicates they are presented together as a unit for cataloging purposes.

Beyond what the metadata confirms, further detail regarding recording circumstances, personnel, or the broader context of the Fabric 72 project is not available here and has been withheld pending verification. Collectors and researchers are encouraged to cross-reference with Fabric Records' official documentation or Discogs contributor notes for additional sourced information.
