Trentemøller
The Last Resort (Vinyl Edition)

Listening notes

Trentemøller's The Last Resort arrived on vinyl through Poker Flat Recordings in 2018, catalogued as PFRLP18. The release spans a double LP format, with nine tracks distributed across four sides.

The tracklist opens on the A side with "Take Me Into Your Skin" followed by "The Very Last Resort," a title that mirrors the album name with a slight variation. The B side carries "Evil Dub" and "Snowflake," while the C side presents "Nightwalker" and "Into The Trees (Serenetti Part 3)," the parenthetical subtitle of the latter suggesting it belongs to a larger sequence within the artist's catalog. The final D side closes the record with three tracks: "Always Something Better," "Moan," and "Miss You," giving that side a denser sequencing than the others.

Poker Flat Recordings, the label behind this release, is associated primarily with electronic music. The genres listed for this release — Abstract, Electronic, IDM, and Minimal — reflect a broad categorization that places the record within a tradition of studio-constructed, largely instrumental electronic work, though the specific sonic character of this pressing is not something this entry can speak to directly.

The nine-track, four-side configuration is a structural detail worth noting for collectors and cataloguers. The D side's three-track layout distinguishes it from the two-track symmetry of the preceding sides, and may be relevant to those researching the sequencing decisions behind the vinyl edition specifically. Track durations are not available in the verified data for this entry.

This draft covers only what the available catalog data confirms. Personnel, pressing specifications, and any comparison to other editions of this material should be verified independently before publication.
