Trentemøller
The Last Resort (Vinyl Edition)

Listening notes

Trentemøller's debut album, The Last Resort, appeared on Poker Flat Recordings in 2006. This vinyl edition carries the catalog number PFRLP18 and is pressed across two records, with the tracklist distributed over four sides.

Side A opens with "Take Me Into Your Skin" and continues with "The Very Last Resort." Side B holds "Evil Dub" and "Snowflake." The third side, C, carries "Nightwalker" followed by "Into The Trees (Serenetti Part 3)," a title that suggests the track belongs to a sequence, though no additional context for that sequence is available in the verified release data. Side D closes the album with three tracks: "Always Something Better," "Moan," and "Miss You," making it the most densely programmed side of the four.

Poker Flat Recordings, the label behind this release, is a Berlin-based electronic imprint. The genres listed against this release — Abstract, Electronic, IDM, and Minimal — place it within a broad field of post-club and experimental electronic music that was active in that period, though the precise relationship between those genre tags and individual tracks on the record is not something the available data can confirm.

Track durations are not present in the verified information for this edition, so no running time, per side or overall, can be stated here.

The double-LP format is a practical fact worth noting for anyone cataloguing or shelving the release: PFRLP18 is a four-sided record and should be treated accordingly in any physical or database record. No additional personnel, mastering, or pressing details are available in the source data reviewed for this draft.
