Vinyl Junkie Collective EP

Listening notes

The Vinyl Junkie Collective EP, released on Vinyl Junkie (2) under catalog number VJ-004, is a four-track vinyl release spanning the A and B sides. The release brings together material filed under the genres of breakbeat, electronic, and house, though no release year has been confirmed in the available documentation.

Side A opens with "The TR-808 Is Coming," followed by "Go Through It." Side B carries "I Wanna Know" and closes with "True Love (Original Outlandz Lovely Mix 1994)." That final track title is notable for the detail embedded within it: the parenthetical designation identifies it as an original Outlandz mix and references the year 1994, making it the only piece of information on this release that suggests any temporal context for the material, even if the EP's own release date remains unverified.

The artist is listed as unknown, and no personnel credits are reflected in the confirmed data. The label designation Vinyl Junkie (2) distinguishes this imprint from at least one other entity operating under a similar name, a common enough situation in independent dance music cataloging where label names were reused or ran concurrently across different operations.

No track durations are documented in the available data. Collectors and researchers working from this entry should treat the 1994 reference in the B2 track title as a detail worth investigating further, as it may offer a starting point for dating the release or tracing its origins, but it cannot on its own confirm when the EP was pressed or distributed.
