Listening notes

Released in 2017 on ZYX Music, the 12" Collectors Vinyl Box (catalog number MAXI BOX LP4) is a five-record box set gathering a selection of twelve-inch singles under a broadly electronic umbrella. The genres listed across the set span Euro House, Hard Trance, House, Italodance, Techno, Trance, and Tribal House, reflecting the stylistic range ZYX Music has long associated with its catalogue releases.

The set is organized around five discrete records, each dedicated to a separate original release. The first collects four remixes under the Ramirez banner, including a Storm Remix of "La Musica Tremenda" running to nine minutes and twenty-eight seconds and a Carl Cox Remix of "Volcan De Passion" at six minutes and forty-three seconds, alongside remixes credited to Elektrochemie LK and D.A.S. The second record presents two remixes of Speakerbox's "Hit The Bass," credited respectively to Chrissi D! and Jim Connor. The third gathers two mixes of "DJs Take Control" by Mike Nero vs. Benchmark Noyz, with one mix attributed to Mike Nero and a hardstyle mix to Benchmark Boyz. The fourth record features two mixes of "Summer Of Energy" by Gigi D'Agostino and Datura, including a version credited as the Gigi D'Agostino Viaggio Mix. The fifth and final record collects four mixes of "Without Love" by Sun, with remix credits assigned to Eric Kupper, Motivo and Antillas, Tony Moran and Jody Den Broeder, and Jimmy Harry.

Total playing times vary across records, from tracks as brief as three minutes and thirty-five seconds to nearly nine and a half minutes. The box set carries no additional personnel or production credits in the available documentation beyond those noted within the tracklist itself.
