25 Years Technoclub Compilation - Vinyl Edition Vol. 2

Listening notes

Released by ZYX Music in 2024 under catalog number ZYX 83137-1, the second vinyl edition of the 25 Years Technoclub Compilation continues the label's commemoration of the Technoclub brand across a double-LP format. The release spans four sides and twelve tracks, drawing from the genres of electronic, hard trance, progressive trance, and trance.

The tracklist is built around extended and remixed versions, a structural choice consistent with the compilation's vinyl presentation. Side A opens with the DJ Kalpa Mix of "Dreaming" at just over eight minutes, followed by Talla 2XLC's Extended Remix of "Tonetwister" and the Extended Mix of "No Fate." Side B carries remixes credited to John O'Callaghan on "I Don't Deserve You," Alex M.O.R.P.H. on "Love Shines Through," and Aly & Fila on "Out Of The Sky." Side C includes a DJ Jamx & De Leon Remix of "I Feel Love," a Club Mix of "Uprising," and a second Talla 2XLC Remix, this time applied to "Bright Sign." Side D closes the set with the Moguai Vocal Mix of "7 Colours" at eight minutes and twenty-nine seconds, an Extended Mix of "Mainhattan" at just under six minutes, and the Dumonde Remix of "Zoo Future."

The presence of two Talla 2XLC remixes across the four sides reflects the name's recurring association with the Technoclub identity, though the nature of that relationship is not elaborated upon in the available documentation. The tracklist as a whole skews toward extended running times, with the majority of selections exceeding seven minutes.
