80s Techno Tracks - Vinyl Edition 4

Listening notes

ZYX Music released *80s Techno Tracks - Vinyl Edition 4* (catalog number ZYX 54064-1) in 2025, continuing what the label's numbering suggests is an ongoing vinyl compilation series drawing from the electronic music of the 1980s. The release is catalogued under five genres: EBM, Electro, Electronic, Synth-pop, and Techno, reflecting the range of styles that circulated through that era's club and underground scenes.

The record is a standard two-sided LP. Side A opens with "Back To Future" at 4:52 and moves through "Operation S.B. (Clock Mix 1)" at 5:24 and "El Mach Hall" at 5:43 before closing with "Be My Dream," the longest cut on the side at 6:14. Side B leads with "Boys And Girls (Hard Dub)," the longest track on the record at 7:30, followed by "Follow The Rainbow (Frankfurt Mix)" at 5:58, "Bestialic Beat" at 4:28, and "This Kind I've Never Seen" at 4:55. Several track titles carry parenthetical designations — Clock Mix 1, Hard Dub, Frankfurt Mix — that suggest these are specific edits or remixes rather than original album versions, though no further detail about those versions is available in the verified release data.

The total runtime across eight tracks runs well over 45 minutes. Artist credits for individual tracks are not included in the available information.

ZYX Music, a German independent label, has a documented history of releasing electronic and dance music catalog material. This release appears consistent with that activity, presenting itself as a vinyl-format reissue or compilation aimed at collectors and listeners interested in 1980s electronic music.
