80.Vinyl SIngle Collection 8

Listening notes

Released in 2000 under the Remake Studio label, *80.Vinyl Single Collection 8* carries catalog number RS 1 - 008.2000 and was issued on CDr format. It is the eighth entry in Remake Studio's Vinyl Single Collection series, a fact implied by both the title and catalog number. The release draws from genres spanning Electronic, Euro-Disco, Eurobeat, and Italo-Disco, suggesting a curatorial focus on dance music styles associated with the 1980s European club scene.

The compilation assembles eleven tracks with a combined runtime placing it well past the sixty-minute mark. Several track titles carry version descriptors that are worth noting for collectors and researchers. The tracklist includes a "Remake 88' Version" of Luisa Fernandez's "Lay Love On You," a designation appearing directly in the track title that may indicate the material was reworked or reconstructed rather than sourced from original masters. Similar version labels appear throughout, including "Compilation Version," "International Rap Version," and "Club Mix," among others. Whether these designations reflect original single versions or reworked material is not confirmed by the available data.

Artists represented include V Project, System X, Christal, Morris, Gary Thomas & Rappers, Dayl, Sheree - Ronnie, Juni G., Irene La Medica, and Clio & Kay, in addition to Luisa Fernandez. Track lengths range from 3:36 for "Talk To Russia! (Radio Mix Version)" to 6:41 for Juni G.'s "Chuckle Chuckle! (International Rap Version)."

As a CDr product from a label oriented around this specific compilation series, the release sits within a category of archival or collector-focused reissue material common to the early 2000s dance music preservation market. Further details regarding original release dates, personnel, or licensing arrangements are not confirmed here and should be verified independently.
