A-Sides Vol. 10 Vinyl One Of Five

Listening notes

Drumcode's A-Sides series reached its tenth volume in 2020, with the collection issued across five separate vinyl releases. This particular disc, cataloged as DC235.1, represents the first of those five records and carries three tracks spanning its two sides.

The A-side presents a single track, "Galactic Rainbow," occupying the full side on its own. The B-side pairs two tracks, "Qadash" and "Tension," in that order. No track durations are available in the verified release data. Artist credits for individual tracks are not confirmed here and have been omitted from this draft accordingly.

The A-Sides series is an established outlet for Drumcode, the Stockholm-based techno label founded by Adam Beyer, and the tenth installment arriving in 2020 marks a continued commitment to the format across the label's catalog. Releasing a compilation of this scope across five individual vinyl records is a structural choice that shapes how the material reaches the listener, distributing the tracks across physical objects rather than consolidating them onto fewer sides. Whether that approach reflects the volume of material, the label's preference for focused listening experiences, or other considerations is not something the available data can resolve.

The genres listed for the release are Electronic and Techno, situating it within the stylistic space Drumcode has consistently occupied. Beyond that genre designation and the structural facts of the release, the verified data does not extend to recording circumstances, contributing artists, or the reception the record may have found.

This draft is unreviewed and should be checked against authoritative sources before publication, particularly regarding individual track credits, which are absent here.
