A-Sides Vol. 11 Vinyl: 3 / 7

Listening notes

A-Sides Vol. 11 Vinyl: 3 / 7 is a 2023 release from Drumcode, the Stockholm-based techno label founded by Adam Beyer. Catalogued as DC271.3, this record is the third of seven vinyl volumes drawn from the label's A-Sides Vol. 11 compilation, a format Drumcode has used across multiple editions to present the series in physical installments.

The release falls within the electronic and techno genres, consistent with Drumcode's long-running curatorial focus. The four-track program is divided across two sides. Side A opens with "Altar" and continues with "Granular (Update 2022 Mix)," the latter title indicating a reworked version of an earlier track, updated in 2022. Side B carries "The Next Step" and closes with "Come To My Beat."

As with other entries in the A-Sides series, the Vol. 11 vinyl run appears designed to make the compilation accessible to collectors and DJs who prefer the format, spreading the full release across multiple individual records rather than consolidating it onto fewer pressings. DC271.3 sits at the midpoint of that seven-part sequence.
