Various
A-Sides Vol. 8 Vinyl Three Of Seven

Listening notes

Released in 2019 on Drumcode, A-Sides Vol. 8 Vinyl Three Of Seven carries the catalog number DC211.3 and represents one component of a seven-part vinyl series issued by the label. As the third installment in that sequence, it contributes three tracks to the broader compilation in electronic and techno genres.

The A-side presents a Will Clarke remix running five minutes and forty seconds. Clarke's contribution occupies the single A-side slot, a structural choice that gives the track its own dedicated side before the record flips to its longer programming. The B-side carries two tracks: "Sonic Therapy," clocking in at seven minutes and thirty-four seconds, and "This Is Us," the longest piece on the record at eight minutes and forty seconds. Together the B-side accounts for over sixteen minutes of material, a runtime consistent with extended techno compositions intended for sustained listening or DJ use.

Drumcode, the Swedish label founded by Adam Beyer, has operated as a platform for techno releases since the late 1990s, and the A-Sides series represents one of its recurring compilation formats. Issuing a compilation across seven separate vinyl records is a format decision that distributes the content across individual pressings rather than consolidating it into fewer discs, a practical consideration for both collectors and those acquiring only select volumes.

DC211.3 is a various artists release, meaning the contributing producers across the full volume represent multiple acts rather than a single recording artist. The specific artists behind "Sonic Therapy" and "This Is Us" are not identified within the verified information available for this entry and should be confirmed before publication.
