A-Sides Vol. 9 Vinyl Four Of Four

Listening notes

Released in 2020 on Drumcode, A-Sides Vol. 9 Vinyl Four Of Four carries the catalog number DC223.4 and represents the fourth and final disc in the ninth installment of the label's long-running A-Sides compilation series. The release falls within the electronic and techno genres, consistent with Drumcode's established identity as a platform for that sound.

The record is a standard vinyl format pressing containing four tracks across two sides. Side A opens with "Just Close Your Eyes" followed by "Code 1." Side B carries "Red Village Disco Hustle" in the first position and closes with "Our Fantasy." Track durations are not documented in the available release data.

As the concluding volume of a four-disc set, DC223.4 functions as the final chapter of a larger compilation body rather than as a standalone release. The A-Sides series has served as a recurring vehicle for Drumcode to present material under the Various Artists designation, and this volume continues that format without deviation.

Beyond what is confirmed by the release data — label, catalog number, year, format, genre classification, and tracklist — no verified information is available here regarding personnel, individual track authorship, recording circumstances, or pressing details. A fact checker should confirm artist credits for each track, as the Various Artists designation leaves individual contributions unattributed in the source data reviewed for this draft. Additionally, any claims about the broader A-Sides series history, Drumcode's catalog context, or this volume's place within it should be independently verified before publication.

This is an unreviewed draft.
