Various
A-sides Vol.6 - Vinyl Three Of Four

Listening notes

Released in 2017, A-sides Vol. 6 - Vinyl Three of Four is the third of four vinyl installments in Drumcode's A-sides Vol. 6 compilation series. Issued under catalog number DC178.3, the release sits within the electronic and techno genres that have long defined the Drumcode label's output.

This particular volume carries four tracks across two sides. The A-side opens with "Fake" and continues with "Destroyer," while the B-side presents "Mohave" followed by "Nasqueron." Track durations are not documented in the available release information.

As the third disc in a four-part vinyl set, DC178.3 functions as one component of a larger body of work rather than a standalone release. The A-sides series has served as a recurring format for Drumcode to gather material under a single compilation umbrella, and the Vol. 6 edition continues that approach across its four separate vinyl pressings. The various artists format, standard to the A-sides series, means the tracks across this volume come from different contributors, though personnel details for this specific pressing are not confirmed in the available data and are therefore not listed here.

Drumcode, the Stockholm-founded label associated with techno, has used the A-sides series as a periodic release format. Vol. 6 appearing in 2017 places it within that ongoing series history.

Collectors and researchers working with the full A-sides Vol. 6 set should note that DC178.3 is specifically the third of four discs, with catalog numbers presumably running sequentially across the set. Confirming the companion volumes and their respective catalog numbers against label documentation would be advisable before citing them in any reference context.
