A-Sides Vol.6 Vinyl Two Of Four

Listening notes

Drumcode's A-Sides series has long served as a periodic document of the label's roster, and the sixth volume continues that practice across a multi-disc vinyl release. DC178.2 is the second of four records comprising A-Sides Vol. 6, issued in 2017, and presents four tracks spread across its two sides.

Side A opens with "Present Heaven" and follows with "Muzik," while Side B carries "La Bruja" and closes with "Nasa." The provided data does not include track durations or artist attributions for individual cuts, so those details are not addressed here and should be confirmed before publication.

As with the broader compilation, the release sits within the electronic genres of techno and tech house, the stylistic territory Drumcode has occupied since Adam Beyer founded the Swedish label in 1996. The A-Sides series functions as a sampler of label output rather than a thematically curated project, making each volume a snapshot of where the label stood at the time of compilation.

Collectors and reference researchers should note that DC178.2 is one component of a four-disc set issued under catalog numbers presumably running from DC178.1 through DC178.4, though only this volume's number is confirmed in the available data. Confirming the complete catalog sequence and whether volumes were sold individually or exclusively as a set would strengthen any full entry on this release.

Track-level credits, mastering information, and matrix data are absent from the verified facts provided and should be sourced independently before this draft is considered complete.
