A State Of Trance 2009 - In The Club - Vinyl Sampler Vol. 2

Listening notes

Released in 2009 on Armada, catalog number ARMA209, this vinyl sampler arrives as part of the broader A State Of Trance 2009 In The Club series, identifying itself specifically as Vol. 2. The release belongs to the electronic and trance genres and presents three tracks across its two sides.

The A side carries a single track titled "Aztec." The B side is divided between two selections: "Circles," presented here in a remix by Andy Blueman, and "Onyric," remixed by Stoneface & Terminal. The inclusion of named remixers on the B side indicates that at least two of the three tracks are reworkings of existing material, though the originating artists and source releases are not noted here.

The A State Of Trance series, associated with the Armada label, used the vinyl sampler format as a way to make selections from its compiled releases available in a format suited to club and DJ contexts. This release fits that pattern, appearing under the Armada imprint designated in catalog records as Armada (4).

As a sampler, the release is positioned as a companion to the broader A State Of Trance 2009 compilation rather than a standalone artist record. The Vol. 2 designation suggests at least one additional sampler volume exists within the same In The Club series for that year, though details of other volumes are outside the scope of this entry.

No duration information is available for any of the three tracks. Interested parties consulting this entry for programming, archival, or collecting purposes should verify running times through independent sources.
