Various
Age Of Love 15 Years Anniversary Vinyl Sampler 3/3

Listening notes

Released in 2023 on the 541 label under catalog number 5411080, this record is the third of three vinyl samplers issued to mark the fifteenth anniversary of Age Of Love. As a compilation, it brings together various artists across a range of electronic subgenres, with the release catalogued under Electronic, Progressive Breaks, Progressive Trance, Techno, and Trance.

The release is presented across two slabs of vinyl, spanning four sides. Side A opens with an Inpetto 2008 Remix of "Toca Me," running eight minutes and seventeen seconds, followed by "Solid Session" at four minutes and twenty-three seconds. Side B carries "Tone" at eight minutes and twenty-four seconds and "Zorgoonn" at six minutes and five seconds. Side C features "Monotone (DJ Serge & Pascal Extended Club Mix)" at five minutes and six seconds alongside "Pure," the longest track on the record at eleven minutes and twenty-eight seconds. Side D closes the release with "My Lexicon" at nine minutes and nine seconds and "Moose" at eight minutes and seven seconds.

Taken together, the eight tracks total just over sixty-one minutes of playing time. The presence of extended and club mixes among the listed tracks, as well as the dominance of pieces running beyond eight minutes, reflects the extended format typically associated with dance floor contexts within the genres listed.

As the concluding volume in a three-part series, this sampler represents one component of a broader retrospective project tied to the Age Of Love anniversary. Collectors and listeners seeking a complete picture of the anniversary series would need to account for the other two volumes alongside this release.
