Balkan Vinyl Allstars

Listening notes

Released in 2018, Balkan Vinyl Allstars carries catalog number BV25 on the Balkan Vinyl label and arrives on vinyl format. The compilation spans six tracks across two sides, drawing on a range of electronic genres including acid, electro, jungle, and techno.

Side A opens with "I Love Acid" at seven minutes and four seconds, making it the longest track on the record. It is followed by "Jungle Hitler" at two minutes and fifty-six seconds, the shortest entry on the release, and "Hui" at four minutes and forty-two seconds. Side B runs through "Heaven & Hell" at five minutes and forty-five seconds, "Craehzrhd" at four minutes and nineteen seconds, and closes with "Proximity" at an even four minutes. The total runtime across both sides amounts to roughly twenty-eight minutes and forty-six seconds.

The genre credits reflect a deliberate cross-section of club-oriented electronic music. Acid and techno sit alongside jungle and electro, suggesting an intentional breadth of reference rather than a single unified sound palette. Whether that range serves as a curatorial statement or simply reflects the contributors gathered under the Balkan Vinyl banner cannot be determined from available information alone.

BV25 marks the label's twenty-fifth catalog entry, a milestone that places this compilation at a particular point in Balkan Vinyl's output. Beyond that numerical position, the specifics of how this release was assembled, who contributed individual tracks, and what role it played within the label's broader catalog remain outside the scope of verified data presented here.
