Being All Vinyl 1

Listening notes

Being All Vinyl 1 is a four-track vinyl release issued in 2018 on Being All Here Records under the catalog number BAV001. The compilation brings together various artists working across deep house, electronic, and house music, presenting their contributions across two sides of a standard vinyl format.

Side A opens with "Suspecious Clap" before moving into "In My System," while Side B carries "Ostpunk" and closes with "Wasted." The four tracks span the broad terrain suggested by the release's genre designations, though the specific contributors behind each track are not detailed in the available documentation.

The release represents the inaugural entry in what the catalog number suggests is a series format, with BAV001 indicating this as the first volume under the Being All Here Records imprint. Whether subsequent volumes followed is not confirmed by the information at hand.

As a various artists compilation pressed to vinyl, the release situates itself within a continuing tradition of house and electronic music appearing in that format, a practice that has remained consistent within those genres since their emergence in the 1980s. Deep house in particular has maintained a strong association with vinyl as a medium, though specific claims about this release's relationship to that tradition cannot be made without additional verified detail.

Track durations are not available in the current documentation, leaving the total runtime of the record unconfirmed. Similarly, personnel credits, production details, and pressing information fall outside what can be responsibly stated here.

This draft requires fact-checker review before publication. Details including artist attributions per track, label background, and any available pressing notes should be verified and incorporated where sourced documentation exists.
