Bemani Symphony Collection Vinyl -Director's Edition-

Listening notes

Released in 2022 on the EDP label under catalog number BSSP-0001, Bemani Symphony Collection Vinyl -Director's Edition- is a double-LP compilation drawing from the Bemani franchise of rhythm video games. The release spans four sides and sixteen tracks, catalogued across genres including Classical, Electronic, Stage & Screen, and Video Game Music.

The tracklist reflects the breadth of the Bemani catalog. Side A opens with "Flower" and continues through a special medley combining "Jomanda," "Vallis-Neria," and "Lisa-Riccia," followed by "Everlasting Message" and "Possession." Side B moves through "朧" (Oboro), "凛として咲く花の如く," "世界の果てに約束の凱歌を," and "Element Of Spada." Side C includes "Smooooch・∀・," "Murmur Twins," "天空の夜明け," and "冥," the last of which is among the more widely recognized titles in competitive Bemani play. Side D closes the set with "量子の海のリントヴルム," "Lachryma 《Re:Queen'M》," "バッドエンド・シンドローム," and "Voca Nostalgia (+minne)."

The inclusion of a special medley on Side A and the parenthetical designation of a version variant on the final track suggest some degree of curation and arrangement work beyond straightforward compilation, though the specific nature of those adaptations is not documented in the available data. Track durations are not listed for any selection.

The "Director's Edition" subtitle implies a distinction from other releases in the Bemani Symphony Collection series, though the particulars of that distinction are not confirmed by the available information. This draft should be reviewed against primary source documentation before publication.
