Various
Cap'tain Vinyl #1 Version Club

Listening notes

Cap'tain Vinyl #1 Version Club is a various artists release issued in 2006 on the Cap'tain label under catalog number CAP001. The record spans four tracks across two sides, sitting at the intersection of electronic music, hard house, and jumpstyle — a combination that reflects a particular strand of European club culture active during that period.

Side A opens with "Time (Jacky Core Remix)," running just over seven minutes at 7:02, followed by the shorter "Intro - Out Of Time" at 1:24. The presence of an explicitly labeled intro piece as a discrete track rather than a hidden or unlisted element is a structural choice worth noting for collectors documenting the release. Side B carries two full-length cuts: "Do It" at 6:08 and "China Boys," the longest track on the record at 7:22.

The release serves as the inaugural entry in what the title suggests is an intended series, with the "#1" designation implying a numbered sequence under the Cap'tain Vinyl banner. Whether subsequent volumes followed is not confirmed here and would require independent verification. The "Version Club" subtitle likely signals a club-oriented or remix-focused editorial direction for the series, consistent with the remix credit visible on the A-side opener.

Collectors and researchers working across the hard house and jumpstyle genres may find this release of documentary interest as an early-to-mid 2000s various artists compilation operating on an independent label. The catalog number CAP001 places it as the label's first assigned release. Further details regarding personnel, individual track credits beyond the Jacky Core remix attribution, and country of pressing are not confirmed by available data and should be pursued through primary sources before publication.
