Dance Train Classics Vinyl 6

Listening notes

Dance Train Classics Vinyl 6 is a three-track vinyl release issued in 2000 on the 541 label under catalog number 541416 500466. Categorized within the electronic, house, and progressive house genres, the record is part of an ongoing Dance Train Classics series, as indicated by its numbered title.

The release carries tracks across two sides. The A-side is occupied entirely by "Generations Of Love (Totally Outed Mix)," running at seven minutes and four seconds, giving it the longest runtime among the three selections. The B-side holds two tracks: "Don't You Want Me" at five minutes and fifty-three seconds, followed by "Killer" at five minutes and twenty-nine seconds. The combined running time and the extended format of the individual tracks are consistent with the conventions of DJ-oriented twelve-inch vinyl releases of the period.

The various artists format places this release within the tradition of compilation singles and DJ tools that were common in the house and progressive house scenes around the turn of the millennium. The Dance Train series name suggests an association with the broader Dance Train brand, though the scope and history of that series are not documented within the available information for this specific release.

Beyond what is listed above, personnel, recording origins, and other production details are not confirmed by the available data and are omitted here. Prospective collectors or researchers looking to verify additional credits or context around this release should consult pressing-specific documentation or supplementary discographical sources.
