Listening notes

DCT 11 is a four-track vinyl release issued in 2017 on the Dual Cyklo Trial label, catalog number DCT 11. The record is credited to various artists and sits at the intersection of several related electronic subgenres, cataloged under acid, electronic, freetekno, and tribal.

The release follows a straightforward two-sided layout. Side A carries "Schizox" and "Puppeteer," while Side B presents "Disorder" and "Roots." No track durations are documented. Individual artist credits for each track are not listed in the available information.

Dual Cyklo Trial operates within the freetekno tradition, a movement broadly associated with DIY ethics, underground distribution, and a deliberate distance from mainstream commercial channels. The label name and catalog numbering system — with this release bearing the number eleven — suggest an ongoing series, though the full extent of that catalog is not documented here.

The genre tags attached to this release point toward a particular corner of underground electronic music where acid electronics and tribal percussion structures frequently overlap with freetekno's characteristic energy. These are well-established stylistic categories within the broader electronic music landscape, and their combination on a single release is not unusual within this scene.

Beyond what is noted above, the available facts do not extend to personnel, recording circumstances, pressing details, or the circumstances of the label's distribution. Collectors and researchers seeking deeper documentation may find that the deliberately underground nature of freetekno infrastructure means that such records are sparsely cataloged across conventional databases.
