Various
Defqon.1 2025 Vinyl Box

Listening notes

Released in 2025 on Defqon.1 Records, the Defqon.1 2025 Vinyl Box (catalog number DQ030V) is a various artists box set spanning genres of electronic, hardcore, and hardstyle. The release collects twelve tracks across six sides of vinyl, making it a substantial physical package for the label.

The tracklist is built around original soundtrack material tied to specific events and productions associated with the Defqon.1 festival. The opening side leads with "Where Legends Rise (Defqon.1 2025 Anthem)" at 4:55, followed by "Take This Moment (Defqon.1 2025 UV OST)" at 3:49. The second side carries "New Day To Remember" and "Trip To The Future (Defqon.1 2025 Opening Ceremony OST)," the latter running just over five minutes at 5:21. Side three includes "Time To Push It (Warrior Workout 2025 OST)" and the brief "LEFT - RIGHT," which clocks in at 1:37 and stands as the shortest entry on the set.

The remaining three sides shift away from the explicitly festival-tied titles. Sides four and five present "Hurt," "Curiosity," "Berlin," and "Azure," each falling in the two-to-four minute range. The set closes on side six with "Stay With Me," the longest track at 5:45, and "Journey Trough Time" at 3:52.

Across its runtime, the box set functions as a document of the 2025 Defqon.1 festival cycle, with several tracks carrying production credits in their titles that connect them directly to specific moments within that event programming. The physical format and six-sided configuration reflect a commitment to releasing this material outside of digital-only channels.
