Dubtek Vinyl 002

Listening notes

Dubtek Vinyl 002, released in 2015 on the Dubtek label under catalog number DV002, is a four-track vinyl release sitting within the electronic and techno genres. The record collects tracks from various artists across two sides, offering a combined runtime that reflects the extended formats typical of DJ-oriented releases.

Side A opens with "King With The Beats," running six minutes and twenty-nine seconds, followed by "Airbag," the longest piece on the record at seven minutes and fifty-seven seconds. Side B carries "Briefly Sexual (Siege Remix)," a six-minute-and-forty-four-second reworking credited to Siege, and closes with "Suns" at six minutes and twenty-six seconds. The presence of a named remix on Side B indicates at least some degree of collaboration or licensing across artists, though the broader personnel behind each track are not documented in the available information.

As the second entry in the Dubtek Vinyl series — the catalog number DV002 makes that lineage explicit — the release represents a continuation of whatever framework Dubtek established with its inaugural vinyl output. Beyond that numerical position in the catalog, the relationship between this release and others in the series is not something the available facts can speak to.

Each of the four tracks runs beyond six minutes, a characteristic shared across the full tracklist regardless of side. Whether this reflects the label's programming preferences, the needs of the contributing artists, or conventions within the techno and electronic spaces this release occupies is a question the available information does not answer.

Dubtek Vinyl 002 is documented as a vinyl format release. No information regarding edition size, country of manufacture, or additional format variants has been verified for this entry.
