Electro Anual (Vinyl 2)

Listening notes

Electro Anual (Vinyl 2) is a four-track vinyl release issued by Vendetta Records in 2007 under catalog number VENMX 777R. Positioned as the second vinyl volume in the Electro Anual series, the record sits across the genres of electro, electronic, and house music.

The A-side opens with "Exceeder (Original)" at six minutes and forty-seven seconds, followed by "Rise Up! (Grant Nelson Bigroom Mix Special Vendetta Dub)," a longer cut running to eight minutes exactly. The Grant Nelson credit on the second track identifies a named remixer, and the extended Vendetta Dub designation suggests the mix was tailored specifically for this release, though the precise circumstances of that arrangement are not documented here.

The B-side carries "The Things You Say (Dirty South Remix)" at seven minutes and fifty-four seconds, and closes with "The Creeps (Fedde Le Grand Remix)" at seven minutes and twenty-three seconds. Both tracks are credited to named remixers — Dirty South and Fedde Le Grand respectively — placing the record within a broader remix culture common to dance music releases of the mid-2000s.

Across its four tracks, the record's running time totals approximately thirty minutes, consistent with standard DJ-oriented twelve-inch programming of the period. Each side balances a single longer cut against a companion track of comparable length, a format practical for club use.

This listing covers Vinyl 2 of the Electro Anual release, implying the existence of at least one additional volume, though the contents or catalog details of other volumes in the series are outside the scope of this entry.

All details above are drawn from catalog data. Personnel beyond the credited remixers, pressing specifications, and original release context have not been verified and are not addressed here.
