Electro Anual Vol. 2 - Vinyl 2

Listening notes

Released in 2008 on Vendetta Records, Electro Anual Vol. 2 - Vinyl 2 carries the catalog number VENMX 916 and represents one component of a larger compilation series. This particular disc contains three tracks spread across its two sides, operating within the genres of electro, electronic, and house music.

The A side is occupied entirely by "Changes (NY Sexy Mix)," running eight minutes and four seconds. The length suggests a DJ-oriented format, giving the track space consistent with the practical demands of club and mixing contexts. The B side carries two tracks: "Air Conditionné (Original Mix)" at seven minutes and forty-three seconds, followed by "Disco Volante (Original Mix)" at six minutes and fifty-two seconds. The presence of original mix designations on the B side, contrasted with the remixed version on the A side, reflects a common structural approach in compilation releases of this type, where alternate versions and remixes are distributed across a multi-disc set.

The combined runtime across the three tracks totals just over twenty-two minutes, a figure in keeping with standard twelve-inch vinyl releases aimed at dance floor use. As the second vinyl in the Electro Anual Vol. 2 series, this disc functions as a standalone unit within a broader release, a format that allows individual volumes to be used independently while still belonging to a cohesive collection.

Vendetta Records positioned this release squarely within the electro and house landscape that characterized a significant portion of the European dance music market during the mid-to-late 2000s. Beyond these structural and contextual details, the available documentation does not support further claims about personnel, production background, or the release's reception.
