Electro Trance 2008 - Vinyl 1

Listening notes

Electro Trance 2008 - Vinyl 1 is a four-track vinyl release issued in 2008 on Barcelona Urban Sound, carrying the catalog number BUS 221 EP. The release operates across the genres of electro, electronic, and progressive house, presenting itself as a various artists compilation limited to a single vinyl disc.

The tracklist is divided across two sides. The A side opens with "Mexico Can Wait (Original Mix)" before moving into "Black Is The Colour," presented here in a remix credited to Coco & Green. The B side follows with "Bubblemaker (Original Mix)" and closes on "Inside Out," in a mix credited to D-Nox & Beckers.

The presence of named remixers on two of the four tracks — Coco & Green and D-Nox & Beckers — suggests the release draws on collaborative reworking alongside original productions, a common structural approach in electronic dance music compilations of the period. The label name, Barcelona Urban Sound, indicates a Spanish point of origin, consistent with the active European club and electronic music scenes that produced a significant volume of genre-aligned vinyl during the mid-to-late 2000s.

No track durations are documented in the available data. Personnel beyond the credited remix artists are not confirmed by the verified facts and are therefore not listed here.

As a vinyl EP released under a compilation umbrella, the release sits within a broader tradition of scene-oriented anthologies that aimed to gather representative sounds under a single format. Whether this release formed part of a numbered series — as the "Vinyl 1" designation in the title might suggest — cannot be confirmed without additional documentation.
