Enhanced Recordings Vinyl Sampler 1

Listening notes

Enhanced Recordings Vinyl Sampler 1 is a four-track vinyl release issued by Enhanced Recordings in 2008 under catalog number ensamp001. The record spans electronic, progressive trance, and trance genres, and brings together multiple artists across its two sides.

Side A opens with "Ultima" and continues with "Eclipse." Side B carries "Minerva (Elevation Remix)" and closes with "Just A Thought." The inclusion of a named remix — "Minerva" reworked under the Elevation credit — indicates that the sampler draws on existing material alongside what may be original or alternate versions, though the precise origins of each track are not documented here.

As the title suggests, this release was conceived as a sampler, a format labels have long used to introduce or consolidate their roster and sound to a broader audience. Enhanced Recordings, operating in the electronic and trance space, issued this record under a catalog numbering scheme that places it as the label's first sampler of this type, at least within that sequence. Whether additional volumes followed in the same series is not confirmed by the information available.

Track durations are not listed for any of the four selections, and full artist attributions for individual tracks are not included in the verified data, so no claims about specific contributors can be made here. Those details would benefit from additional sourcing before publication.

The release is formatted as a standard vinyl record, consistent with the trance and electronic scene's continued engagement with the format during that period. Beyond these structural facts, editorial commentary on pressing, sound, or collector significance would require verification this draft does not yet have.
