Listening notes

Released in 2021 on the Minimalkombinat label, this CDr from Herr Roth presents two continuous mixes across a single disc. The first, titled "Minimalkombinat/THC-Kombinat Special Vinyl Only Mix," runs 42 minutes and 25 seconds. The second, "Minimalkombinat Exclusive CD Mix," clocks in at 36 minutes and 29 seconds. No catalog number has been assigned to the release.

The format is notable in that the disc carries two distinct mixes, one of which is identified in its title as a vinyl-only mix despite appearing here on CDr. Whether that designation refers to source material, intended format, or some other distinction is not clarified by the available information.

The release is attributed to Various artists under the Herr Roth name and sits across an unusually broad range of listed genres, including EBM, Electro, Electronic, Experimental, Minimal, New Wave, Post-Punk, Psychedelic Rock, Rock, and Synthwave. The genre spread suggests the mixes draw from a wide pool of source material rather than a single stylistic tradition, though the specific tracks and artists included are not documented in the available data.

No personnel, recording location, or production credits are confirmed at this time. Collectors and researchers looking to verify contributors, licensing details, or the relationship between the vinyl-only mix and any corresponding vinyl release would need to consult the label or additional primary sources directly.

This is an unreviewed draft. All details should be confirmed against physical copies or official label documentation before publication.
