Various
Lunatic - The Vinyl Collection

Listening notes

Released in 2022 on Hell's Recordings, *Lunatic - The Vinyl Collection* (catalog number HELLSVC01) is a four-track various artists compilation presented on vinyl. The release falls within the electronic and hardcore genres, and spans just under twenty-four minutes of material spread across two sides.

Side A opens with "Particle Physics (Ophidian Rmx)," running at six minutes and eleven seconds, followed by "Undisclosed" at five minutes and forty-five seconds. Side B carries "Don't Get Stuck" as its lead track, the longest cut on the record at six minutes and fifty-two seconds, with "Girl Of My Dreams" closing out the collection at four minutes and twenty-four seconds.

The compilation format places this release within a broader tradition of label-curated vinyl editions, gathering material under a unified identity rather than presenting a single artist or project. The Lunatic name and the Hell's Recordings imprint provide the framing context, with the catalog number HELLSVC01 suggesting this may represent a first or early entry in a series, though no further releases in that sequence are confirmed here.

The inclusion of an Ophidian remix on the opening track is a notable detail, indicating at least some degree of external creative contribution to the collection beyond the originating artists, though the full personnel behind each track is not documented in the available information.

At four tracks across two sides, the running time is modest by compilation standards, and the selection appears tightly curated rather than expansive. Whether this represents an introductory sampler, a limited edition document, or something else entirely cannot be determined from the facts at hand.
