Various
Nowhere02 Vinyl Sampler

Listening notes

The Nowhere02 Vinyl Sampler, released in 2020 on Something Happening, Somewhere (catalog number SOHASO 026), is a various artists compilation issued on vinyl. The release sits across the genres of electro, electronic, house, and techno, reflecting the broad stylistic territory that the Something Happening, Somewhere label has chosen to represent under a single sampler format.

The record follows a standard two-sided layout across six tracks. The A-side opens with "Fading Ocean," followed by "Selfishness" and the curiously titled "smwajkb." The B-side carries "In A Flash," "Propaganda," and "Astronaut Prinses." Track durations are not available in the verified data. The sampler format itself is a well-established practice in electronic music, typically used by labels to present multiple artists or sounds within a single release, though specific intentions behind this particular compilation are not documented here.

The Nowhere02 designation suggests this may be part of a series, though no information about related releases is available to confirm that reading. The label name, Something Happening, Somewhere, carries an appropriately open-ended quality for a release that spans several distinct electronic subgenres within a relatively compact six-track sequence.

Beyond what the catalog entry confirms — label, year, format, catalog number, genres, and tracklist — no further verified details are available regarding personnel, pressing specifications, or any other production information. Collectors and researchers seeking additional context about this release should consult primary sources or the label directly.
