Re:Cuts Volume 3 (Black Vinyl Soul)

Listening notes

Re:Cuts Volume 3 (Black Vinyl Soul) is a vinyl release issued by Black Vinyl Records in 2003 under catalog number BVR 12050. The release sits within the deep house, garage house, and broader house and electronic genres, and forms part of the label's Re:Cuts series, this entry being the third volume.

The record presents three tracks across its two sides. The A-side opens with "Sunshine (Mediterranean Vocal Mix)" followed by "Give Me Your Love (Original Vocal Mix)," giving the first side two distinct entries. The B-side is devoted entirely to a single track, "I Need You," presented here in a version credited as the Boogie Bruthaz Body & Soul Remix. The remix credit is notably specific, naming both a remix team and a named mix variant within that credit, though no further personnel information is available from the confirmed details of this release.

As a compilation release attributed to various artists, the record draws together material under a format common to the house music ecosystem of the early 2000s, where label-curated vinyl packages served as a practical means of consolidating tracks for DJ use and collector interest alike. Black Vinyl Records issued this under a catalog scheme that places BVR 12050 within what appears to be an ongoing numbered sequence, though the full scope of that catalog is not addressed here.

No track durations are available for any of the three listed cuts. Fact checkers should verify artist attributions for each individual track, confirm any additional label or publishing credits present on the physical release, and establish whether the Re:Cuts series continued beyond this volume. Personnel behind the Boogie Bruthaz remix credit and the Mediterranean Vocal Mix designation should also be confirmed before publication.
