Secteur Vinyl Volumen 3

Listening notes

Secteur Records continues its vinyl series with the third installment, catalogued as SECTEUR003. The release follows the label's established format, presenting a four-track, two-sided record under the compilation title Secteur Vinyl Volumen 3.

The tracklist spans an unusual combination of listed genres: Acid House, Electronic, Latin, and Merengue. Side A opens with "Bailar (Extended Mix)" and is followed by "Perdoname (Original Extended Mix)," with the extended format designations suggesting both tracks are presented in full, unedited versions. Side B carries two tracks credited to Mark Alvarado. The first, "Bailando (Private Ilegal Mark Alvarado Rework)," identifies itself explicitly as a rework, while the closing track, "Searching For Love (Mark Alvarado Not Private Mix)," plays on language that appears to reference or respond to the rework designation on the preceding cut.

The genre spread across the release is worth noting in plain terms. The pairing of Acid House and Electronic with Latin and Merengue is an unconventional combination on paper, and the tracklist as structured places the more Latin-leaning titles on Side A and the Alvarado-credited material on Side B, though no artist attribution is confirmed for the Side A tracks in the available information.

No release year is confirmed in the available data. Durations for individual tracks are not listed. Personnel beyond the credited name Mark Alvarado, who appears in two track titles on Side B, are not documented in the source material.

This is a draft for fact-checker review. Year of release, full artist credits for Side A tracks, and track durations should be verified before publication.
