Various
Serial Killer Vinyl EP

Listening notes

Released in 2002 on the Serial Killer Vinyl label, this EP carries the catalog number SK-021 and presents three tracks across its two sides. The release falls within the electronic and techno genres, situating it within the broader landscape of early 2000s dance music production.

Side A carries a single track, "Funtastik," while Side B hosts two: "Groove Grill" and "Serious Bases." No track durations are documented in the available data. The release is credited to Various artists, a common arrangement for label-curated EPs of this type, though specific contributor information is not confirmed here and should be verified before publication.

The Serial Killer Vinyl label itself is reflected in the catalog number structure, with SK-021 suggesting this was at minimum the label's twenty-first cataloged release, implying an established output by the time this EP appeared. Whether the label was operating out of a particular city or scene, and any additional context about its roster or run of releases, would require further sourcing.

The vinyl format situates this squarely in a period when twelve-inch singles and EPs remained the primary distribution vehicle for electronic and techno music intended for DJ use, though no specific configuration details — such as speed, weight, or pressing origin — are confirmed for this release.

Track durations, personnel, and any supplementary liner information have not been verified and are absent from this draft accordingly. Editors should confirm artist attributions for each individual track, as compilation and various-artists EPs of this era frequently involved distinct producers per side or per cut. All unconfirmed details above, including the label catalog inference, should be reviewed prior to publication.
