Serious Beats 14 Vinyl 5

Listening notes

Serious Beats 14 Vinyl 5 is a four-track vinyl release issued in 1994 on the Trance Mission label under catalog number TM 076. It forms part of the broader Serious Beats 14 compilation series, with this particular disc representing the fifth vinyl volume in that set. The release sits across the genres of electronic, house, techno, and trance, reflecting the range of sounds that characterized European club music during that period.

The A-side opens with "The Lights (Part 1)," followed by "Euphemia (Perceval Mix)." The Perceval Mix designation on the second track indicates a specific remix version, though no further production or personnel details are available to confirm the origin of that edit. The B-side carries "2 Times An Orgasm" and closes with "Scoraig '93," the latter title suggesting a possible connection to a year prior to the compilation's release, though the nature of that reference cannot be confirmed from the available information.

No track durations are documented for this release. The compilation format and the volume numbering indicate that Serious Beats 14 was a multi-disc set, a structure common to Belgian and broader European electronic music compilations of the early 1990s that gathered scene-relevant tracks across several records.

Beyond what is captured in the catalog data, no verified information is available here regarding the contributing artists, production personnel, pressing details, or the commercial context surrounding this release. Researchers and collectors seeking additional documentation on this volume are encouraged to consult primary sources or the broader Serious Beats discography before drawing further conclusions.
