Listening notes

Released in 1998 on Slammin' Vinyl, *Slammin Vinyl Vs Hardcore Heaven 28th November 1998 (Happy Hardcore)* is a cassette compilation catalogued as SVHH (12) 006. The release documents a joint event between two names associated with the late-1990s UK happy hardcore scene, presented across twelve individual tapes.

The format itself is straightforward: each tape in the set is assigned to a single performer. The twelve artists represented are Slipmatt, Hixxy, Seduction, Dougal, Force & Styles, Vibes, Sy & Unknown, Vinylgroover, Brisk, Breeze, M-Zone, and Mark EG. No track durations or individual track listings are attached to the verified data for this release.

The genres listed — Electronic, Happy Hardcore, Hard Trance, and Hardcore — reflect the stylistic range associated with events of this kind during the period. The late 1990s saw a number of UK promoters and labels issue cassette packs tied to specific event dates, and this release follows that model, with the date of 28th November 1998 embedded directly in the title.

The catalog number places this within a numbered series on Slammin' Vinyl, suggesting it was part of an ongoing programme of event documentation rather than a standalone release. The label name appears in two forms across the release — Slammin' Vinyl in the label credit and Slammin Vinyl without the apostrophe in the title — though both refer to the same entity.

No additional verified information is available regarding personnel, recording circumstances, or distribution. Fact-checker should confirm catalog number formatting, label spelling conventions, and whether individual tape track listings exist elsewhere in the database.
