Thunderdome Vinyl Series II Of IV

Listening notes

Thunderdome Vinyl Series II Of IV arrives in 2025 on Thunderdome Music under catalog number TDMVL202502, the second installment in a four-part vinyl series drawing from the Thunderdome catalog of electronic hardcore music.

The release spans two sides across five tracks. Side A opens with "Welkom In De Hel," running three minutes and nine seconds, followed by "Trash The Disco" at two minutes and fifty-one seconds. Side B carries the majority of the release's runtime, leading with the original "Fuck The System" at four minutes and thirty-six seconds before presenting two remixed versions of the same track: an Angerfist 2015 Remix clocking in at five minutes and twenty-one seconds, and a Spitnoise Remix at three minutes and thirty seconds. The decision to dedicate an entire side to a single source track and its remixes gives Side B a notably different structural character compared to the two-track A side.

As the second of four announced volumes, this release sits within a broader serialized project. The use of a consistent catalog numbering system — TDMVL202502 indicating this is the second entry — suggests the series is being issued under a unified framework, though the sequencing and selection criteria for the broader series are not documented here.

The record falls within the electronic and hardcore genres, both of which have historically maintained an active collector base for physical formats. A vinyl release under the Thunderdome name in 2025 represents a continued engagement with that format within a scene long associated with dancefloor culture.
