Thunderdome Vinyl Series IV Of IV

Listening notes

Thunderdome Vinyl Series IV Of IV is a 2025 release on Thunderdome Music, issued under catalog number TDMVL202504. It is the fourth and final installment in a vinyl series from the label, presenting four tracks across two sides in the electronic and hardcore genres.

Side A opens with "These Guys," running three minutes and twenty-two seconds, followed by "Innovator Oldskool" at three minutes and thirty-seven seconds. Side B is anchored by "The Understream," the longest track on the record at four minutes and forty-three seconds, with "The Understream (Execrate Remix)" closing the release at four minutes and six seconds. The presence of a dedicated remix alongside the original version of "The Understream" gives Side B a focused, two-part structure that distinguishes it from the paired standalone tracks on Side A.

As the concluding entry in the series, this fourth volume carries the implicit weight of completion. Whether the series was conceived as a finite run from the outset or arrived at four volumes through other decisions is not documented here, but the enumeration in the title makes the finality explicit. The Thunderdome name has long been associated with hardcore and electronic music culture, and this release operates within those genre boundaries, though specific personnel, recording circumstances, and the relationship of these tracks to any broader catalog are not confirmed by available information.

At a total runtime of approximately fifteen minutes and forty-eight seconds across four tracks, the record is a compact release by vinyl standards. This draft has been prepared for fact-checker review and makes no claims beyond what the verified release data supports.
